Critical Project Review (Project Management)

Unresolved Challenges

Challenge
There is still a bit of communication discrepancy due to the end of the semester and each group member has their own share of work that needs to be accomplished. Often time’s group 3 gets caught up with our own material that it becomes stressful to handle project at hand. It is crucial that communication is up to par and is reasonable to accomplish this gate. This is not a serious issue at all but as the project is coming close to an end it is needed to perfect communication to make this gate as successful as possible.
Resolution
Always ask the group members “when are we doing this assignment?” “How can we accomplish this early so we can revise it later?” This is just to have a constant check of what is going on in the class and that all group members know the deadlines that they have to accomplish. Additionally, keep updated on the Monday and Wednesday meeting. Even if there is a day off during the time you are supposed to meet always notify through phone or the online Facebook posts. If there was a Thanksgiving break all the group members should know what is the coming task when returning from break. This will then leave every group member knowing what they need to do as soon as they get back and accomplish this section of the project.

Resolved Challenges

Challenge
The challenge was that after the group has distributed the workload to every member the group was not applying it to the person’s strength. Therefore, they were unable to complete the task fully on our own individual deadline. Which then hinders the group to continue and cannot move forward until that is accomplished. This also delays the group by rushing through the other assigned tasks for the gate without fully analyzing the guideline and offers limited time to revise.
Resolution
This time around group members did not hesitate in asking for help on a certain part of the gate. When one group member gets stuck on a certain part other group members pitch in and assist him as soon as soon as possible. This allows more time for the individual to understand what needs to be done and accomplish other parts fully within the group’s specific deadline date. Every group member used a lot of available resources given to them such as emails, online data bases etc.: Therefore, group 3 was able to accomplish all of their tasks within the group’s deadline by using the resources around us.
