Gate One: Request for Proposal

Introduction

The primary objective of gate one was to start the group thinking on the project. Disassembling and analyzing the scooter in one go without concocting a plan first would likely end in failure. A plan was created during this phase of the project that dictated how the work would proceed. Reasonable deadlines were set to keep the group in check and on time. This was also a good time to assess the group's collective strengths and weaknesses and decide how to work around any problems we would likely encounter.

Shortcomings

• Group members not familiar with updating Wiki
• No previous Solid Modeling experience
• No previous knowledge of the workings of electric scooters
