Product Explanation

Purpose

The purpose of this gate is threefold: reassembly of the product, analyze the previous information gathered to make more detailed conclusions about the product, and present the information in a technical report on the groupʼs wiki.

Epicyclic Gearing Changes output rpm from motor as well as torque. It also prevents the motor from being damaged with a one way input torque from only the electric motor. In this gearing system, there are the following gears: a sun gear, the planetary gears, and the annulus bigger gear.
