In 1959 Barbie was introduced. Launched by Mattel, one of the world’s largest toy company (Fortune 500), and it's popularity instantly increased. The depth to which the Barbie doll has been developed today is astonishing, with Barbie being the star in multiple books published by Random House and major motion pictures. Her biography has come to include her many accomplishments, which includes the ownership of a myriad of vehicles, from pink convertible corvettes to jeeps.
