		+	Over the course of the semester, team 20 disassembled and reassembled the Black and Decker JS510G Jigsaw. Initially the team observed the characteristics of the saw without taking it apart. Notes were taken on the intended use, complexity, and development profiles among others. The next step was to carefully disassemble the saw, documenting each step so that another might replicate it. Once that was completed, an in depth analysis and a CAD design was done on key components. Finally, the team reassembled it, once again documenting all the steps and generated a few ideas for possible redesigns. This project involved important engineering concepts such as manufacturing processes, technical writing, and the four factors: environmental, economical, social and global.
