		+	==Executive Summary==

		+	The overall goal of the Kawasaki KFX, and of Fisher Price, is to provide endless entertainment for a young child. It is clear from the design of the product and consumer reviews that the Kawasaki is very reliable and has a thought-out design. It is marketed to boys ages three and up, and it is sold within a reasonable price range so the average American family does not need to greatly expand their budget for a fun, reliable product.

		+	The main selling features of the ATV mimic are the “monster” traction wheels and twist grip throttle feature. The traction of the KFX allows it to ride on surfaces other than flat pavement, such as grass and mud. Although the bike only goes up to 5mph, this speed is perfect for the user’s age range. The twist grip throttle is what accelerates the bike to achieve this maximum speed of 5mph, so the rider can more easily associate this toy with an actual ATV.

		+	The disassembly and reassembly of this product were not extremely difficult, because the components are easy to identify and their processes are relatively simple. The assembly of this product was also made simple due to the fact that the consumer must assemble parts of the product themselves. The component interactions were manufactured to be simple so the average adult, with very little mechanical background, could also assemble this product for their child.

		+	As shown throughout this report, there were several design revisions that could be made. These design revisions, including changing the wheel material and battery, were based on our own design insight and the consumer reports found on amazon.com and fisherprice.com. While the ratings for the Kawasaki are consistently very high, there are some modifications that can be made.

		+	Every member of our group benefited from this mechanical engineering product analysis. The technicality of the report as a whole, as well as the individual assessments made throughout the report, were new learning experiences for everyone. We were able to work together through challenges and divide the work amongst each other in a way that helped us gain experience working in a group.
