Introduction
Our group plans to display the skills required to reverse engineer the Nerf gun Pyragon. The Nerf Vortex Pyragon is a disc shooter that can hold 40 discs in the given drum magazine.
Project Summary
Throughout the gates, our group dissected, analyzed, and reassembled the product. We looked in depth on how parts interacted with one another on both system and subsystem levels. We also examined how these parts were manufactured. Once we had a good understanding on how our product worked, we proposed some design revisions that our group felt would increase the performance of our gun. When proposing design revisions, took into consideration the four GSEE factors which are global, societal, economical, and environmental.
Gate 1
Project Planning- We planned out how we will work through the project
Gate 2
Product Dissection- Following our plan we dissected our product and documented the dissection
Gate 3
Product Analysis- After dissecting our product, we analyzed the components
Gate 4
Product Explanation- Reassembly of the product and detailed conclusions
