Product Dissection and Analysis of the Toro CCR-2000 Snow Thrower
Abstract
Our group took apart, analyzed, and reassembled the CCR-2000. The goal was to examine the critical systems and components of the machine, and the decisions involved in the manufacturing of the blower.
We split the project into four steps: Planning, Dissection, Analysis, and Reconstruction. The steps are laid out below
Sub-Pages
Gate 1: Basic information regarding group members, the Toro CCR-2000 Snow Blower, developmental history, and the plan for dissection.
Gate 2: A report detailing our dissection process and analysis of the subsystems present in the Snow Blower.
Gate 3: Cataloging of parts and analysis of subsystems and manufacturing decisions.
Gate 4: The process of reassembly and a presentation of possible design improvements to the machine.
Gate 5: The project management delivary and product archaeology
