Solid Modeled Assembly

When deciding which subsystem to model, we decided to use the engine as it is the primary source of work for this car and the function of the car hinges on its performance. The entire engine subsystem consists of a pull starter, chamber cover, shaft, two supports, an outlet for exhaust, a glow plug, and the single-cylinder engine itself. The sizes of these components, as well as their arrangement is shown in the images below. The individual components and final assembly drawing were created in AutoCAD 2011 Student Version.


*Note: Fasteners were not included in this block assembly due to time constraints.
