Implementation
The DART Pro/E client is written with the Pro/TOOLKIT API, .NET Framework in the C# programming language, and the Windows API. It extends the DART desktop client. The installer uses the Nullsoft Scriptable Install System.
Additional Features
The DART Pro/E client extends the DART desktop client. In comparison to the DART desktop client, the DART Pro/E client exports Pro/E files to multiple formats using Pro/E, increasing the chance that the files will be readable in the future. Furthermore, it integrates with Pro/E by adding a new menu called "DART" to Pro/E which lets the user archive within Pro/E.
Removed Features
The DART Pro/E client requires the DART desktop client to be installed and running to automatically archive files. This ensures that both the DART Pro/E client and DART desktop client are not automatically archiving files at the same time.
