Ontology Development
Sensor ontology development
- Trolling SSHWG notes for:
- Good application/group reviews---sensors used, procedures, etc
- Sensor data formats & languages
- Need to review, learn, compare against, build on existing work
- Thesis: Many approaches do not provide well for describing and reasoning on roles and capabilities
- Many languages to draw on
- Sensor ML
- EDXL
- NAWS
- IEEE 1451
- ANSI N4242
- ebiquity sensor ontology
- Very low level, essentially /proc for a node
Message package/wrapper/envelope
- Has small, very generic ontology (msg, source, format, etc)
- Some sort of packet format, XML schema, etc, to wrap metadata/data
- Important to stress that ontology data is not the message, it's metadata alongside data
Network Protocols
Message deliver models background
- Message querying
- Receiver querying
