1. With only limited CAD experience we may have issues completing more in depth drawings.
2. Even though the electrical system inside the drill is not that complex, we may not have a sufficient enough electrical understanding to explain the drill's electrical network.
Meeting place/time for group:
Every Saturday on the second floor of Capen Hall library we intend to meet at 9:00am.
These meetings will be used for the following purposes:
discussing the next steps for completing each gate,
the actual disassembling and examining of the drill itself,
and delegating jobs for each group member to accomplish.

Conflicts will be brought to the attention of the project manager, who will make a
decision on the proper course of action to resolve any conflicts within the group.
Conflicts potentially include but are not limited to: scheduling conflicts, work load issues, and deadline problems.

This product is targeted for average middle class households. It is a basic drill designed for use by the United States/Canadian markets. It was designed for people who like to do their own work (as opposed to Europe where there are fewer people who might want to buy a drill to work on their own home). It is an extremely affordable drill for the average household. The instructions are given in both French and Spanish to accommodate the Canadian market and the fact that we have more Mexican people in America.
The drill is designed for use with plastic, wood, and sheet metal. This information was obtained from blackanddecker.com. It is designed for use in the home (non-industrial quality). The product is designed to screw and fasten objects together (tables, chair) or fasten objects to walls.
Electrical potential energy is stored in a 12 volt rechargeable NiMH battery. A motor within the drill transforms the electrical potential energy into mechanical work.
-From an initial inspection of the product the following components can be found on the drill: trigger, battery, forward/reverse button to orient applied torque, chuck, speed adjuster, motor, housing, and a single drill bit.
-The individual components appear to be very simple and straightforward. The most complex piece component would appear to be the motor within the drill.
-The main component interaction is that of the battery. Once the trigger is pressed current travels from the battery to the chuck allowing the drill to complete the required task.
-The clearly visible materials on the drill are as follows: plastic body/trigger, rubber grip for hands, steel screws that hold the product together, paper which gives any warnings deemed necessary by the manufacturer, and steel for the drill bit receptacle.
-The materials that are not visible would be: copper (in the motor of the drill), plastic wire housing, and aluminum in the motor as well.
User Interaction Profile
-The drill was designed with an pistol grip. There is a clearly visible, orange, spring loaded button for disassembling the battery from the drill. Two hands are required to tighten the drill bit down. Torque and speed adjusters are also located on the drill.
-The product is extremely simple and easy to use
-The maintenance required is straight forward. When the battery dies simply remove it from the drill body, and recharge it using the supplied battery charger.
