Challenge 3

Challenge #3 is significantly more difficult that the other challenges in this module. It is designed to require significant creative thought, problem solving and insight. It may require the design of clever Roomba behaviors and test strategies. Teams that are successful on this particular module will find the experience uniquely rewarding. Not only will this guarantee an "A", but you'll likely get a flood of job offers from Faculty who need help on their research projects and from co-op employers. This is the "main event", the capstone, the... you get the idea.

It should be noted that one can obtain an "A" for the unit without attempting this challenge---but what fun would that be? This event should bring out the engineer or scientist in each of you, searching for the answer...
